Our new red eco-friendly umbrellas!
And here introducing our red eco umbrella, a scarlet red eco-friendly umbrella, sustainably manufactured from bamboo and RPET plastic. Yes, up here in My Shop, it’s all about the ecology of umbrollogy. So, we are proud to welcome the ECO GENIUS to our growing range of environmentally-friendly umbrellas. These sustainably manufactured umbrellas really are our idea of “My Shop”. There is actually quite a lot to say about them. This new Eco range sets a clear example of how to make a 21st-century umbrella in a way that minimises impact on the environment. Perhaps soon, all umbrellas may be made like this.
The first thing you’ll notice is that the canopies of these striking, red eco umbrellas are actually made from recycled plastic bottles. This is a process that takes waste plastic bottles and turns them into PET (PolyEThylene) chips. These plastic chips are then turned into a fibre, that is spun into a yarn and then woven into a fabric, known as RPET (Recycled PolyEThylene). More than just innovative, we think this is genius and hence the name ECO GENIUS!
Scarlet red – stand out & stand up for the planet!
The Red Eco Umbrella has the shaft, handle and tips, crafted from bamboo, which is one of the most versatile and sustainable resources on the planet. Bamboo is significantly stronger and also more flexible than wood. It grows extremely fast and has a particularly impressive CO2 absorption rate.
These wonderful red eco-friendly umbrellas can be used as both walking style and also as mini golf-style umbrellas. With a tip to tip span of around 100 cm, they are suitable for adults but they are also suitable for older children and teenagers. Protect yourself from both sunshine and rain – and protect the environment at the same time!
We are really proud to have these wonderful umbrellas in our collection. We hope you’ll appreciate them. Even the clear plastic packaging sleeves are made of Bio-Degradable Plastic (BDP). Go ahead – keep dry and save the planet with this beautiful red eco umbrella!
