So when something really special comes along it will generally cause a bit of excitement up here in My Shop. And that’s exactly what happened when our umbrella angels discovered the Warwick windproof range.

The first thing you notice about this wind-resistant white walking umbrella is the smooth, lacquered, wooden handle. Further features a wooden shaft and end tip. Finally topped off with a graphite grey metal ferrule, matching the metal open cap and rounded spoke tips.

The Warwick white walking umbrella boasts a powerful automatic opening mechanism, thanks to the eight-spring wind resistance system. You need to take care when you press the button as it’s more than capable of knocking a cold pasty out of the hand of a passing politician. WHOMP!! The strong, light fibreglass ribs are mated to a steel eight-spring frame, with an additional nylon cantilever system for increased flexibility and longevity.

This pure white umbrella is ideal for weddings and other events. We’re planning to test the Warwick white walking umbrella to give a definitive measure of its wind resilience. So far our Chief Umbrollogist has been unable to turn one inside out… and he’s been destroying windproof umbrellas for many years now.

The canopy of this white walking umbrella is “pongee”, widely regarded as the only choice for a serious wind-resistant umbrella. The canopy width is approximately 105 cm and the overall length is 89 cm (35??). Weight 440 g approx.
